Korte beschrijving/Annotatie
A coming-of-age in 1960s Paris, where a young musician tries to find out who he wants to be, caught between talent, family, and desire.
Tekst achterflap
Étienne grows up in Paris with parents who expect perfection, not conversation. He learns to stay quiet, polite, controlled, even when his feelings become too big to hide. His friendships and first loves pull him toward honesty. He wants connection but fears being known, especially when desire does not look like what his family imagines. Between rehearsals, lectures and long nights, Étienne learns that performing is easier than living, and love is harder than talent. His story is about choosing who he wants to be, even when his parents aren't watching.
